Review **** A delightful piece of physical theatre without words. A great use of movement, expression and connection with the audience. Looks at friendships and changing dynamics. Beautifully directed. The set is a clever piece of design and works in various ways. One point to note though, there was quite a bit of the action I missed as it happened on the ground and Bedlam Theatre does have a slight rake (but not really a steep enough one), so this production would either have to be performed on a stage, or in a venue with adequate raked seating. The show will have a wide appeal to a multi-generational audience, but I would not recommend to anyone below 10. It may be one of those shows that split the audience as there were about 6 walkouts, yet there was a standing ovation from some at the end. There is sound throughout, and there are some more complex lighting cues, but I am sure this could be adapted to a rural touring rig. CA @NEAT |

ReplyDeletedelightful tho there are some sightline issues. A few naughty themes. But a 6 year old wouldn't get it, and 14 year old would squirm if their parents were there. That kind of naughty.
