Review No evidence of Steam Punk music, as mentioned in the Ed Fringe Programme. And I don’t feel that the 2 wooden geese justified the mention of puppets – as in the programme. (Had they seen the fabulous goose & handler in “War Horse” I wonder?) A youth theatre or drama school. 13 in the production. Poor use of space. Poor voice projection. Too bothered about details of props and moving around the performance area. Our local youth theatre in Barnard Castle produces much more polished, more imaginative, better directed pieces. I wonder, was this directed at all? Shame |
Suitable / ready for rural touring? | No |
Would you book them ? | No |
Would it be worth pursuing this company to consider work in the future? | No |
Any other comments It’s unfortunate that one can’t tell in the Ed Fringe programme the provenance of a company. These days images may look good, blurb sound attractive, but I don’t think I would have gone [ie searching for suitable shows for Rural Touring], if I’d have known that this was a Youth theatre production. |
