Review Four actors, one chair and 4 microphones, with a hard working sound technician created an energetic show. I was spell-bound. I meant to watch the goodly number of 15-20 year olds in the audience for their reaction, but I forgot, because I was so captivated by the performance. I loved the portrayal of the female anarchist bike rider from Trondheim. The writing was very clever, releasing a story, which whilst funny managed to make a poignant statement about the 16 year old girl looking after her bike rider dad who has MS and wakes up blind. The picture painting, storytelling and choreographed moves were all of the highest quality. |
Suitable / ready for rural touring? | Probably not. I guess the show demands a tech spec which would be too sophisticated for Village Halls |
Would you book them ? | Yes, if I had a black box studio theatre |
Would it be worth pursuing this company to consider work in the future? | Possibly |
Any other comments Although we were in a small studio theatre with no set, we had the benefits of raked seating – seated on three sides (plus one row on the fourth side) with the action in the centre. A venue on the flat would have caused sight problems for any people seated any more than 2 rows back |
